Officer of the Month

The Police Welfare Association has embarked on a Police Officer of the month program to recognize members of the Force who are serving in an exceptional manner by exemplifying outstanding service through his or her work and exhibiting a positive attitude.

"Any member of staff or member of the public can nominate an officer for this initiative", said the Police Welfare Association Chairman Constable David Barnett, "the purpose of the Officer of the Month Program is to recognize Police Officers and or Staff who have served the RT&CIPF in an exceptional manner by exemplifying outstanding service through his or her work and exhibiting a positive and supportive attitude towards colleagues as well as members of the Public.

This process will be a nomination process that will be opened to the Police and the members of the Public. The nominees will then be graded in the following areas:

Attitude and Commitment
Interpersonal Skills
Work Performance
Personal Traits

Every Month we intend to name two (2) Officers who receives the highest scores, one (1) from Division “A” and one (1) from Division “B”. At the end of the Year we intend to name the 2019 Officer of the Year at our Christmas Dinner Schedule for January 2020.
